Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Stranding Network
Dead Sea Turtles
Granite Construction Company and the City of Sand City donated equipment and manpower to transport to Moss Landing Marine Labs a leatherback turtle that washed up on the beach in Sand City (July 1993). Museum displays were made with the bones from the flippers and head.
